Fixed-scope opportunity work
A defined piece of commercial and market research with agreed outputs before any development estimate.
Agree scope & fee firstOur default model is fee-based and stage-gated. With our in-house technology team and a careful validation-first process, we aim to avoid unnecessary overheads and keep more budget available for launching and growing the business.
A defined piece of commercial and market research with agreed outputs before any development estimate.
Agree scope & fee firstResearch sessions, prototypes and practical tests planned around a limited set of critical assumptions.
Set a testing budgetApproved development increments linked to useful tests, demoable outcomes and agreed acceptance criteria.
Approve the next incrementFocused help with pilots, commercial outreach, onboarding and product refinement after an initial launch.
Agree a cap and review pointsThis outlines our standard engagement structure, not fixed public quotations. Project estimates depend on scope, research needs, engineering complexity and any required external specialist work.
Our standard relationship is straightforward: clients engage PROSPR for commercial discovery, validation, product delivery and optional traction support at agreed fees. For a small number of exceptional opportunities, equity or revenue-sharing may be considered through separate due diligence and contractual terms. We do not make a partnership offer before understanding the venture.
Our in-house technology capability supports closer coordination and better cost control. The objective is not to be the cheapest developer, but to reduce avoidable spending and preserve the resources required for a viable business.
Commercial questions should be answered with the simplest appropriate experiment before committing to advanced functionality.
Each engagement should specify scope, exclusions, deliverables, third-party costs, milestones and what happens if priorities change.
We consider initial development, hosting, maintenance, compliance, customer acquisition and the funds needed after launch.
Software/IP ownership, source-code access, ongoing support and termination terms are agreed in writing before the relevant work begins.
No. Our proposed model allows you to start with opportunity work and decide whether to proceed to validation, engineering or launch support after reviewing evidence and budgets.
We aim for the most useful and efficient next step, not a fixed-speed race. A quick prototype can be appropriate, but a large development sprint before demand is tested may not be.
Not in this concept. We first need to establish a practical pricing structure and define what each phase includes. We will explain the agreed fee and third-party costs before work begins.
Most engagements are fee-based. For exceptional opportunities with strong validation, strategic fit and aligned incentives, we may separately consider equity or revenue-sharing arrangements. These are selective possibilities, never automatic alternatives to paying for services.
That is an important and potentially valuable outcome. We review the evidence together and may recommend refining the concept, testing a different problem or stopping before substantial build costs are incurred.
We can discuss your industry, your goals and the smallest sensible first engagement.
